Look Guide: Forever Glam

FACE
Prepare your skin with your skincare regime as usual. Starting with clean, freshly moisturized skin will always provide the best results. After blotting off any excess moisturiser, smooth out your complexion with the ARTDECO Makeup Base, which will give your face a fabulous dewy feeling; apply it with your fingers or with the Makeup Brush, and let it absorb for a few moments. This look is outrageously different and daring, and to make a statement we have to start with porcelain skin and a dewy glow. The perfect way to achieve this is by using the High Performance Lifting Foundation. Smooth it onto your face with the Makeup Brush or a sponge. Use the lightest touch of Perfect Teint Concealer under the eyes to add a touch of discreet radiance, and set everything with High Definition Loose Powder. Next, swirl the Travel Kabuki Brush in the Bronzing Powder Compact and buff very lightly into the skin just underneath the cheekbone for a sculpted, contoured effect.
EYES
After prepping your eyes with ARTDECO Eyeshadow Base, apply Glam Stars Eyeshadow no. 684 all over the mobile eyelid, winging it out and upwards on the outside, and in and downwards on the inner corner. We need lots of pigment layered on here, so use the shadow generously with an applicator, tapping off any excess before applying. This light colour must go up to the crease, but not past it. Now apply no. 665, a beautifully rich cool purple, on the brow bone. Start from just underneath the bulb of the eyebrow and work your way out, making sure not to get any fall-out on the previously applied champagne shade. Blend the purple all the way into the eyebrow and wing it out towards the temples. Make sure that there is a very visible difference between the two colours of eyeshadow.
Now, use the Soft Eyeliner waterproof no. 80, and draw a sharp line just above the crease, between the purple and champagne. Don’t blend, but layer the colour on for more pigmentation. Wing out the line to meet the end of your eyebrows, then line the lower lash-line, and extend the line to meet with the extended one in the crease.
Line the top lash-line, using the same pencil, then go over it with the Glam Stars Liquid Eye Liner No. 7 for extra sparkle and texture. To finish off, curl your lashes with the ARTDECO Profi Eyelash Curler, and apply a thin coat of Lash Booster to give more oomph to your lashes. Finish off with a coat or two of your favourite ARTDECO Mascara.
LIPS
Prepare the lips with the Lifting Lip Stylo, and let it set for a moment. Apply Invisible Lip Contour around the lips to prevent any bleeding or feathering, and slick on some Glam Stars Lip Gloss no. 26.
Highlights
Add a very soft touch of the lightest colour from the Glam Stars Eyelights no. 3 to the highest points of your cheekbones, brows, bridge of the nose and chin. You can also use it on your collarbones, shoulders and décolleté for some extra emphasis.
Blusher
Now apply Blusher no. 25 to the apples of your cheek and blend well.
Nails
To complete the look, slick on Ceramic Nail Lacquer No. 272 or 293.
