5-Alpha Avocuta

This ingredient is won from avocados.  It reduces excess sebum production and the skin becoming shiny.    

Acacia senegal gum

Gum from the white acacia reduces the viscosity of cosmetic agents. 

Activating complex

The new activating complex is a combination of an extract of the 5 leafed Ginseng which in China carries the name „herb of immortality”, and the Panax Ginseng which is also called American Ginseng. The activating complex increases the cell respiration and supports the decomposition of toxins from the skin. Furthermore, it stimulates the microcirculation in the skin and strengthens the skin’s own protection.

Algae

Algae are low water plants and mainly grow in the ocean, but also in sweet water and on land.  There are more than 20000 known types where their appearance changes from tiny small ones to very large seaweed.  The main difference are in the four main groups, brown, red, green and blue algae.   They absorb different nourishment from growth and reproducing from the liquid in which they live.  Thats why the extracts of the vegetal organisms are rich with precious carbohydrates, albumen, minerals and trace elements.  Algae hydrated the skin and protects it. 

Algea Extract

Enteromorpha compressa belongs to the family of green algae. It is mainly found in waters with a very high salt content. They are found on the coasts of the Atlantic, Pacific, Mediterranean, and on the coast of the North and Baltic Sea. This algae type is rich in calcium, magnesium, iron, as well as lots of vitamins, oligominerals and proteins. Through the high content of vital substances, this algae is used for numerous reasons in Japanese cuisine and in cosmetics. It reduces itchiness, and the feeling of tension in sensitive skin. It calms and significantly reduces the skin’s sensitivity.

Allantoin

Is a product of albumen cell metabolism, but is also present in plants, e.g. in comfrey root, carrots and wheat germ.  Allantoin speeds up the cell renewal and is tolerated by the skin.  Rough, chapped skin becomes smoother, softer and supple.  Allantoin also calms the skin. 

Almond oil

Almond oil is one of the most precious oils, and is won from the seed of almonds.  When applied to the skin it gives it a soft, and soothing effect.  It is absorbed quickly, does not grease and leaves the skin feeling satiny.     

Aloe Vera

As a desert plant which was already appreciated by the Indians 1000’s of years ago.  Aloe vera contains numerous ingredients such as amino acids and sugar compounds, minerals and vitamins.  Aloe vera is hydrating, soothing and vitalizing. 

Alyssum

Alyssum can be found in South-Central and Eastern Europe. Further it is native to Asia and North-West Africa. This extract of alyssum has a smoothing effect on the skin by filling in little wrinkles.

Anti-pollution active ingredient

The anti-pollution ingredient contains three vegetal active ingredients of ivy, sunflower and phytic acid which is derived from rice starch.  The moisture level of the skin is maintained where the skin’s own defense system can work.  The skin is thereby protected against negative environment influences, e.g. from gas emissions, and cigarette smoke.

Apricot seed oil

The oil is won from the pit of ripe apricots.  Apricot pits fit to all skin types, it is especially well tolerated and effectively supports skin which is sensitive, dry and chapped. 

Argireline

Is a synthetically developed Hexapeptide which is an albumen with six amino acids. It is a safe and mild alternative to Botulinum Toxin. Additionally it smoothes the skin, becoming less irritated and the toxic interaction are stopped.

Asian peeling complex

Bee wax

Bees wax is won from melting down empty honeycomb.  It is a very well tolerated wax which has protective and nourishing attributes and exhibits excellent emulsifying qualities.

Biorusol

Biorusol contains the vegetal ingredient Rutin which is also said to prove vitamin properties.  Research tests prove that it has a soothing, irritation calming effect on the skin. 

Biosaccharide

Biosaccharides are won through the extraction of mussels. They improve the protective mechanism of the skin from exterior environmental influences. Biosaccharides also support the moisture level of the skin.

This light yellow, rich with vitamin oil, is won by pressing the canola plant. It has skin smoothing attributes and protects.

Candelilla wax

Vegetal wax won from a plant.  Makes the skin soft and smoothens it.  When applied to the skin, hair or nails it forms a film.  When used in cosmetics it is used to form the consistency of the products.

Canola oil

It is skin smoothing and protects it against negative environmental influences. 

Carnauba wax

Wax from the South American Carnauba wax.  Makes the skin soft and protects it.  When applied to the skin, hair or nails it forms a film.  When used in cosmetics it is used to form the consistency of the products.

Caviar

Caviar is the vitality from the ocean. This exclusive caviar extract from the Caspian Sea is rich in valuable proteins, lipids and important minerals as well as trace elements. Caviar

Collagen-/Fiber

The albumen collagen is an important part of our skin. It has rope like structures which net together to make very strong fibers. This fiber net is the supportive frame of our connective tissue which makes the skin tight and elastic. Collagen is produced in the corium. Older fibers are replaced by new ones. As skin ages, the production of these fibers is reduced. The amount of collages reduces. Creams containing collagen make a film on the skin which reduces moisture loss and gives back lost moisture. At the same time collagen creams offer the skin its own regeneration factor. The skin’s surface appears smoother and softer.

Colloidal gold

"Colloid“ describes a specific condition or separation degree which has been defined at a size between 10-5 and 10-7which is very, very small and not visible to the naked eye. Dermotenseur

Is an intensely tightening and hydrating active ingredient complex. In this interesting active ingredient complex, the extract of the pulp from the Kigélia africana (holy African tree) and an extract from the bark of the Quillaja saponaria molina (south American tree) are combined. The extract from the Kigélia fruit has an immediate tightening and smoothing effect and increases with regular application, the skins firmness is increased by four. The tightness of this lifting extract is reduced by the second extract. It increases the moisture content of the skin and makes it satiny soft. Diatomaceous earth

Diatomaceous-earth is won from the earth of dried up lakes and oceans. It is a natural mineral granulate with a very high content of mineral supplements and is used as a peeling granule in skin cleaning products.

Echinacea

Also called sun hat. Originally comes from North Africa and counts as an old Native American plant. In care products it stirs the fibro elasticity, improves the metabolism, and supports the care capacity of the skin and strengthens the immune system.

Echium seed oil

Echium seed oil is won from the seed of the echium plantagineum (also known as viper’s bugloss) is won through cold pressing. It is especially rich on essential fatty acids and, particularly in gamma linolenic acid (Omega 6 fatty acids) that primarily serve to protect and the build up of the skin’s barrier. Eucalyptus

Extracts from the Eucalyptus tree leaves. It has a skin cleaning effect and an intensive scent.

Farnesol

Is present in nature in various essential oils, eg lime and orange tree blossom. Farnesol is very skin friendly and has antibacterial and deodorizing attributes.

Feedback proteins

Feedback-Protein is a pentapeptide that is used in the re-growth of connective tissue. It is an anti wrinkle substance with a very good acceptance of the skin for the stimulation of the fibro elasticity.

Gamma Oryzanol

Gamma Orizanol is won from the oil of rice bran. Its chemical structure is similar to the one of vitamins. This ingredient contains vitamins, Phytophtora and pigments. It improves the healing process, elasticity, stimulates the tallow adenoids activity and is considered a natural anti-oxidizing agent.

Ginger originally comes from central Asia. The root is used fresh or dried for lots of areas with interior and exterior uses. Gingko Biloba

The Gingko Biloba tree is one of the oldest in the world and comes from Asia and was considered a holy tree there. Since apprx. 200 years it has been growing in Europe. Its double layered leaves are rich in anti inflammatory plant agents. Gingko Biloba extract improves the circulation of the skin and heightens the administration of oxygen, and the metabolism. Further, they also retain water, strengthen and vascular enlargement, and due to it high level of flavonoids, it also combats free radicals.

Ginseng panax

The panax ginseng extract comes from the root of an ivy. Very often also called “Rejuvenating Elixir”. Glossar

Glycerin

Glycerin is a trivalent alcohol which is part of natural fats. It is a transparent, colorless, viscose-like and sweet tasting liquid. It is excellent for hydrating the skin and aids it to maintain the natural hydration levels. Glycerin has been known for centuries and is one of the oldest cosmetics used for hydrating the skin.

Glycyrrhiza Glabra

For centuries now, liquorice has been considered a healing medication. They say that it makes the skin prettier and stronger. In 300 BC Hippocratis wrote that this extract heals various haemorrhages, that would otherwise not stop. The French like drinking their Pastis, a refreshing aperitif which is based on liquorice. The extract has calming, inflammation reduction, water retention and strengthening attributes and is very often used in cosmetic products for delicate skin, sun tan lotions and anti age creams.

Good Looking Pigment

Mineral pigment made from talcum, coated with iron oxides and silicon. It gives the skin a natural toning and conceals small irregularities in the skin.

Grape seed

Grape skin extract are really precious fruits with a high content of unsaturated fatty acidy. We find a part of the essential linoleic acids of up to 71%. Additionally the have vitamins C,A and vitamins of the B complex, as well as mineral salts, trace elements and sugar. For the skin this means that there is better protection from free radicals, a diminishing of irritation and counteracts infection.

Grape seed oil

It is a green, gold colored oil, with a grape, nut taste. With approx. 85% of unsaturated fats, it is a leader under the oils and very valuable in cosmetics. It has vitamins and minerals and has a light toning attribute.

Grapefruit

Grapefruit extract has a refreshing and regenerating effect. It works as an astringent, tones and diminishes skin impurities. It reduces the sebaceous oil and refines the pores.

Green tea

Is very rich in flavonoids and improves the protection from free radicals. It also contains tanning agents, caffeine and represses inflammation, tones and revitalizes.

Guarana

Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859), a German explorer, was the first to introduce guarana to Europe. First mentioned in German encyclopedias in 1877, the natives of the Amazon have used guarana for thousands of years. It is appreciated for its revitalizing and refreshing abilities. The guarana seed is rich in fats, starch, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids. Further it contains 4-5% guaranine, the strongest natural caffeine. The caffeine content of guarana powder is about three of that of coffee. The high caffeine content stimulates local blood circulation and assists the reduction of slag substances in the skin.

Hibiscus

The Hibiscus-extract is taken from the seed of the Hibiscus plant. The active ingredient has very good caring, relaxing and hydrating attributes.

Himalaya salt

Himalaya salt is a crystal salt that was left over when the ancient seas dried up after the alpine folds were created due to the rubbing of lithospheric plates. This pink salt is especially rich with mineral compounds.

Honey

Since ancient time honey is known as a healing and caring product. It was used as an active ingredient in embalming the body. Hop

The hop extract is won from the blossoms of the Humulus Lupulus plant, a big vine which grows in southern Europe. Hyaluronic acid

Found in human and animal connective tissue, Hyaluronic acid forms an invisible, permeable coating on the skin. This prevents dehydration of the epidermis due to its unique liquid binding ability. It also stimulates the skins natural hyaluronic acid synthesis, making the skin smoother and firmer.

Hyaluronic acid, low molecular

The low moleculor hyaloranic acid penetrates deep skin layers especially well and cushions them. Newest technologies in nano technology make this possible and care for an improved hydro deposition in the skin.

Indian Myrrh

Taken from Indian Myrrh, this ingredient was discovered by Christian Dior. The exclusive ingredient works fast and is effective against wrinkles. It boosts the adipogenesis and "cushions" the dermis from the bottom up and thereby diminishes the wrinkle depth in the skin.

Iron oxide

It’s a combination of iron and oxygen. Its natural color ranges from yellow to red brown to black. Iron oxide are pigments which can break off also let light rays pass through Thereby it comes to a nice iridescent color effect.

Isoflavone

Belong to the group of Phytohormones, this means they have similar structural attributes, like estrogen, but much weaker and without side effects. High dosages of isoflavone with Genistein, Daidzein, and Pueratin are found primarily in soy, iris and red clovers. They improve the protection of our collagen and elastic fibers from the destructive enzyme collagenase and elastese. They rebuild the skin barrier and thereby protect the skin from water loss.

Ivy

Ivy is an evergreen climbing plant found in Europe and North America. Amongst other things it contains saponin, vitamin C and E, beta carotene, rutin and caffeic acid. In cosmetics ivy extract is used for its astringent, cleansing and firming abilities.

The Jojoba bush is a desert plant and reaches a height of approx. three meters. Its roots go as far as nine meters into the desert ground and can live to be 100 years old. The Jojoba nuts have a valuable oil consisting esthern, unsaturated fatty alcohols and fatty acids. Jojoba oil is considered a liquid wax and in unique in the flora. It is used in first-class care products as it makes the skin beautiful. smooth and subtle.

Jojoba seeds

Are little beads of Jojoba wax. They are in peeling and cleansing products, for the gentle removal of dead skin cells. When pressure is applied, the beads give way, acting like an “air bag” and therefore are a gentle abrasive.

Kaolin

Kaolin, or also known as china clay is a natural, pure hydrous aluminum silicate. It is a fine, white, soft, fatty feeling powder. Kaolin absorbs the sebum and therefore has a matting effect.

Kombucha

The kombucha fungus has been successfully used as natural remedy in Asia and Russia for centuries. As Russian research proves, many of the fungus components have antibiotic and detoxifying properties. Many scientific studies analyze the therapeutic properties of the gluconic, lactic and ascetic acids found in kombucha as well as the Vitamin B’s and C.

Lanolin, medicinal

Lanolin is a wax, and is originally won from the fat of sheep’s wool. Through its compatibility with the skin, it is used in the production of creams, salves, ointment, and emulsions. It makes creams smooth and is absorbed well by the skin.

Lemon

Lemon extract is won from the lemon rind. It has astringent and toning qualities, and most frequently used for impure skin.

Lemongrass

The essential oil has a revitalizing and refreshing effect on body and soul. It is used as a bathing additive and in aromatherapy as a mood lifter for exhaustion and with concentration troubles.

Litchi

The litchi tree is a large evergreen planted in Asia since 2000 years for its fruits. The extract won out of the pulp is rich in glucose, fructose and sucrose. It has hydrating, soothing and coating abilities. The contained fruity acids have a gentle keratolytic effect.

Loofah

Loofah is a widely dispersed climbing vine in central America. Its fruits are the size of a plum. These fruits have a thin skin and the interior is marrow like with a fine fiber netting resembling a sponge. Its active ingredient are among others, cucurbita, bitter substances and triterpene. Luffah was used by the natives for the treatment of catarrh. The extracts are retrieved from the fruit and the shell.

Lotus

Lotus is an important component of the Chinese herbal medicine. The Lotus flower is the sign for purity in Buddhism and possessed magic powers for the inhabitants of the ancient world. The white Lotus flower stands for purity, as is brilliant white. Dust and dirt simply repel off the flower, and here they speak of the so called "Lotus effect". The ultra pure extract of the Japanese Lotus blossom was already used in Japanese care products centuries ago. The contained polyphenol and flavonoide protect and care for the skin. They strengthen the capillary vessels, diminish redness and infections.

Macadamia nut oil

Is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids, such as palmitic and oleic acid. Macadamia nut oil is in its composition, similar to our skin’s sebum. It is absorbed very fast by the skin and gives a silky, not fatty feel to the skin.

Mango butter

Is retrieved from wild Mangos in Africa. Serves to hydrate the skin and makes it wonderfully satiny and smooth. Also counts as a very good antioxidant.

Marine fennel

The marine fennel is a plant found on ocean cliffs. Often it has to resist strong winds and spray so it became remarkably resistant and energetic. Rich in phytoestrogen and vitamin C, it stimulates the cell renewal and hereby aids the strengthening of the epidermis. Further, it has a smoothing and firming effect.

Matrixyl

This is a bio-peptide, that simulates the composition of collagen. With the natural break down of collagen fibers through enzymes in the skin, there remains a natural bio-peptide in the last section, which signals the skin to build up new collagen. With age, the activity from this molecular cue decreases drastically. This molecular cue is the Matrixyl. Hereby the skin is artificially animated to build up collagen. In-vitro tests showed that a strengthening of the collagen synthesis 1 with Matrixyl, is three times larger as with vitamin C and with Collagen IV an increase above 50%. Matrixyl is also appropriate for very sensitive skin.

Maxi Lip

This essential oils from the peppermint plant refreshes, disinfects, deodorizes, cools and improves circulation and has a pleasantly fresh smell.

It makes the skin smooth and soft and gives the hair a silky shine. In Polynesian, Monoi means ,,scented oil'' and leaves behind its exotic scented oil. It is won from the white blossom of the Tiare, the national plant of Thatiti. They are picked at dusk and are macerated in cocoanut oil.

Multi Mineral complex
